Can I just walk in if I am in town?+

Absolutely, we will do our best to accommodate you. We usually will find a table for couples, and groups of up to four. If you want a table for 5 or more you are best booking in advance.

Do I need to book a table?+

We always try our best to accommodate walk-in guests, but being such a small venue this is often difficult with tables of 5 or more, so in that case it's always best to book in advance… To be on the safe side, if you're planning to visit in advance, you can book a table either way!

Do you have a dress code?+

We prefer our guests to wear smart-casual attire but there is no dress code at The Nuthatch. Guests are encouraged to wear whatever makes them feel most comfortable.

Can Children visit The Nuthatch?+

Unfortunately, due to licensing restrictions The Nuthatch is STRICTLY an over-18s venue. We operate a Challenge 25 Policy so if you're fortunate enough to look young you may be asked for ID.

Can I bring my dog?+

To keep our guests' experience as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, we don't allow dogs at The Nuthatch, with the exception of assistance dogs.

Do you offer Private Hire?+

Of course, we love private events & functions. As a small busy venue it's often not possible to offer Exclusive Use hire on Fridays & Saturdays - but we're always happy to discuss the options available. Use the form below to get in touch.
